Before the tiers: the way in

LANDMARK Associate
Working towards Accreditation

For schools where leadership is still developing. Associate recognises commitment, an honest baseline and a credible plan. Schools receive structured support towards Accreditation and can move up as soon as they are ready.

Who it is for

LANDMARK sets a high bar. To achieve Accredited, good practice must be demonstrated across all 8 Staging Posts, with no area of leadership significantly weak. Some schools are not there yet, and that is exactly where Associate helps.

Associate is a stage before the three tiers, not a tier in its own right. It is for schools that are committed to developing distributed leadership and want a clear, honest route to Accreditation. Strong schools can apply straight to Accredited.

  • Half-day validation visit with an experienced assessor
